		<description>Solving the seven wastes and everything adversely affecting the achievement of excellence and high productivity is simply a matter of unleashing every employee&#039;s full potential of creativity, innovation and productivity.  This is done by eschewing the standard top-down command and control system of managing people and employing its opposite of listening to the people and supporting them with what they say they need to do a better job.

Most organizations use only the creativity and innovation of the highest executives because they shut off that of everyone else.  They shut them off by using top-down which by its nature demeans and disrespects employees causing them to demean and disrespect their work, their customers, each other and their bosses.  

Treat employees with the greatest respect and they will do likewise to their work, their customers, etc.  This concept was espoused by Douglas McGregor in &quot;The Human Side of Enterprise&quot; as Theory Y as compared to Theory X.  But McGregor did not provide the specific tools needed to effect this concept.  But those tools are available.
